While the big color in scrapbooking last year happened to be turquoise, there is a new color taking over for 2011 this year. Pantone just recently announced that honeysuckle is to be the big color this year. This beautiful shade of pink is sure to be embraced by those looking to scrapbook weddings and babies, and it’s a color that can be worked into almost any layout. Of course, this doesn’t mean you need to get rid of all your turquoise papers and embellishments, you’ll just want to start looking for options in honeysuckle to use as you scrapbook through 2011.
Shades of pink will definitely create a very soft and feminine output. But the thing is, you may opt to using other shades in your scrapbook if you don’t feel using the color. Unless you follow a certain code projects, then make sure to have a touch of honeysuckle in each design.
