Scrapbooking – Make Your Own Embellishments from Old Jewelry

On Monday, January 9th, 2012

Sometimes scrapbooking can get a bit expensive, especially if you love adding beautiful embellishments to your pages. One cool idea that can save you money is creating your own embellishments from old jewelry.

Metal decorations are a popular option and you can take old jewelry, take it apart, and have your own great metal decorations. If you have some old broken jewelry around that really isn’t worth anything, consider taking it apart and using it to embellish your scrapbooking pages.

Go looking for used jewelry at thrift stores or look for cheap costume jewelry items that can be taken apart to make cute embellishments that will make your pages look incredible without spending a lot of money.
